Shamrock Reports Preliminary Results on Fireweed Winter Drill Program

Vancouver, British Columbia – Shamrock Enterprises Inc. (CNSX: SRS) wishes to announce the preliminary results from the Phase 1 Drill Program on the Company’s Fireweed Silver Property located northeast of Smithers, BC. The first four holes have been split and logged which indicate mineralization styles including bedded massive sulphide, breccia matrix filling, small pods and lenses, fracture fillings, and disseminated styles.

Hole FW 10-1 was drilled 000°/-60° to a depth of 161.5 m. The hole encountered a mineralized zone 42 m wide, (drilled intersection, true width will be less) containing 10.2 m of Massive Sulphide (pyrrhotite/sphalerite/ pyrite/galena/chalcopyrite).

Hole FW 10-2 was drilled 000°/-73° to a depth of 170.7 m from the same collar location as FW 10-1 and encountered 2 m of massive sulphide within a mineralized zone 136 m wide (drilled intersection). At the depth of the massive sulphide, the holes are about 18 m apart.

Hole FW 10-3 is located on the same section and was collared 35 m north of holes FW 10-1 and FW 10-2. The section also contains old drill holes 88-51, 06-4, and 06-5. Hole 3 was drilled to intersect the zone closer to surface. It encountered a mineralized zone approximately 120 m wide including 3.06 m of massive sulphide. Hole 3 was drilled to a depth of 154.4 m.

Hole FW 10-4 was collared 50 m east of FW 10-1 and FW 10-2 and was drilled to a depth of 213.4 m. It encountered disseminated, fracture and breccia controlled mineralization over a drilled length of 46 m but did not encounter the massive sulphide horizon.

The current drilling has demonstrated vertical continuity of the zone, and opens the need for additional drilling in several other locations. Due to the present winter conditions in the Fireweed Property area, the Company is in the process of moving the remaining drill core into a secure location in Smithers, BC to complete core logging.

The Fireweed Property includes 8 Mineral claims totaling 2,411 Hectares (24.11 square kilometers) and lies within a structurally complex area at the south margin of the Skeena sedimentary basin in an area known as the Skeena Arch.

The Fireweed deposit is a polymetallic (Ag, Zn, Pb. Cu. Au) discovery of massive sulfide and disseminated sulfide replacement type mineralization. The main mineralised horizon covers more than 5.0km of strike length, 50 to 100+ meters of stratigraphy, and 100+ meters of dip extent. It is hosted within Cretaceous age Skeena Group sediments 'and volcanics and intruded by post-mineral Tertiary Quartz Latite dykes. Mineralisation was generated within a stratovolcano environment and has a distinct Cu, Pb. Zn, Ag, Au, Mn. Cd,As, W and Sb geochemical signature. To date the most significant mineralization is hosted by a series of fan complexes aligned in an East-west direction along an inferred syn-sedimentary fault This series of sedimentary fan complexes appears to grade laterally to the west into a lapilli tuft-pyroclastic package which contains charred wood fragments and volcanic bombs. Tourmaline and Apatite have been noted near the West zone. These features, and others indicate that the Fireweed is the same type of deposit as Equity Silver's polymetallic (Ag, Cu, Au) open pit mine, south of Houston, B.C.

Pursuant to an option agreement dated February 17, 2010 the Company has the right to earn up to a 70% interest in the Fireweed Property,.
