Directors & Management

Bob Faris, President, CEO and acting CFO

Mr. Faris is a business consultant with 30 years of diverse experience in the Canadian investment and junior capital markets. Previously, Mr. Faris worked with War Eagle Mining for 15 years, holding various positions including Vice‐President, Corporate Development. He also served as a business development consultant to many junior companies involved in oil and gas exploration, mineral exploration and the technology sector.

Nizar Rayani, CFO, Director

Mr. Rayani brings over 30 years’ experience in internal and external auditing, accounting and management. Nizar began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers before heading up Canada’s largest stationery Company, Murphy Stationery, from 1974 to 1996. Murphy Stationery was acquired by Corporate Express (now Staples Inc.) in 1996. Mr. Rayani was born in Kenya and was educated in England, where he completed his formal education at Cambridge University. He is a Certified Accountant (KE), and a fellow of the Institute of Accountants of England and Wales. Currently Mr. Rayani runs a small accounting practice for High Net worth clients.

Scott Ansell, Director

Scott Ansell has an engineering background with over 25 years of expertise in project management, feasibility studies, permitting and mining finance. Scott was most recently VP Project Development for Sunridge Gold where he managed the completion of prefeasibility studies, feasibility and environmental and social studies for the Asmara Project in Eritrea, which led to the awarding of a mining license by the government of Eritrea. Scott was previously Technical Director of Studies and Manager of Consulting, Geology and Mining for AMEC Americas, located in Lima, Peru and Vancouver, Canada. He has previous experience in Africa with Nevsun Resources as Project Manager in Mali and Eritrea.

Charlie J. Greig P.Geo, Director

Mr. Greig has worked on a variety of significant projects in the Province of B.C. including Brucejack Lake (Pretivm), Red Mountain (Lac Minerals, IDM), Silbak Premier (Westmin, Ascot), and IKE (HDI-Amarc). He also has extensive international experience, having worked on projects such as La India in Mexico (Grayd, Agnico Eagle) and Bisha in Eritrea (Nevsun). He is currently Vice President, Exploration and a Director of GT Gold where he led the recent discovery of the Saddle zone, a high grade precious metal discovery on their Tatogga property in the Golden Triangle area of Northern B.C.. Mr. Greig is a graduate from the University of British Columbia, with a B.Comm. (1981), a B.Sc. (Geology 1985), and an M.Sc. (Geology, 1989). Mr. Greig’s fields of expertise include geologic mapping, structural geology and exploration geology.

Monita Faris, Corporate Secretary

Ms. Monita Faris was educated at the University of Central Florida and obtained her BA in English. Based in Vancouver, she has worked as a consultant for the past 15 years providing corporate and securities compliance services to private and public companies. Ms. Faris actively attends securities programs and courses offered by the B.C. Securities Commission, the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. and the Toronto Stock Exchange. She is currently responsible for the corporate and regulatory compliance aspects of several OTCBB, TSX, TSX.V and Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) listed companies.
